 I completed threat assessments and an order of battle using MI techniques and the intel cycle. 
INTERPRETIVE 
Defend your work and explain the component's significance and how it demonstrates 30 hours of work.   Provide evidence (photos, transcript, art work, videos, etc) of the 30 hours of work.  
I had to complete a threat assessment and order of battle. I used my skills learned from mentorship and research to complete the task. Each one if done correctly can take an exceedingly long time to complete. below are links to both the order of battle and the threat assessment.

How did the component help you answer your EQ? Please include specific examples to illustrate how it helped. 
It allowed me to see if a weak requirement is drafted and used the report or any work following will be also weak and unreliable and cause the failure of the mission. The independent component has opened my eyes to see the directing phase is the most important phase and not the processing phase as i had established before. Directing phase not only took me longer to complete but was the most decisive time during my independent component.

1.  Describe in detail what you plan to do for your 30 hours.Same thing i did last time do threat assessments but also complete order of battle charts. 

2.  Discuss how or what you will do to meet the expectation of showing 30 hours of evidence.Order of battle charts i very extensive and so are threat assessments so i will make time easy.

3.  Explain how this component will help you explore your topic in more depth.It will allow me to know which phase is most important in the intel cycle.

• I completed two threat Assessments one on Indonesia and the other on Baghdad, Iraq.  

·         INTERPRETIVE

•  It allowed me to gain experience in my main job I would do if I was an analyst in the Intel field. Threat assessments are very important and no false information can be given you must find the balance between your educated opinion and facts. Threat assessments can take a day weeks months it depends on the level of quality the assessment is at. Also I went by the Intel cycle which enhances the assessment but also makes the process longer.  Below is a link to my threat assessment.

How did the component help you understand the foundation of your topic better?  Please include specific examples to illustrate this. 

• What I did differently in this scenario I had to make the requirement where usually I am served the requirement. It was extremely hard to draft the mission where I have had experience in only answering the question. My current EQ does not cover that part of MI it has made me think to draft a new EQ.  Also it made me see how important the collecting phase is in the Intel cycle I had to go back and collect more intel because I was not just collecting whatever but I was only collecting a little bit of intel which is more of processing phase. So I might change my answer to my EQ to collecting phase is the most important phase due to the ease it gave me when I collected a whole lot of intel and it enabled me to see multiple paths to answer the requirement not just one path.

What i plan to do for my 30 hours is write assessments and threat assessments on current events and countries around the globe. 

2.  Discuss how or what you will do to meet the expectation of showing 30 hours of evidence.

I would take pictures or print out reports i made with the assessment. document all my references i used to write assessments.  

3.  And explain how what you will be doing will help you explore your topic in more depth.

Assessments is something all intelligence analysts do when your commanding officer assigns you a question it could be what is the threat assessment in the city of Damascus i would check in databases on the current situation going on in Syria and the death rate health of people crime rate ect. then you write a report on the city. after that you make an assessment based on your findings and present it in a summary to the commander. Doing assessments would give me a simulation into what analysts do for the majority of their time and would help me really grasp the whole job in depth that i would not get if i was not writing reports. And it would require me to have a deeper understanding on how to write a flawless assessment.
